In which your intrepid adventurer sets forth into the unfamiliar waters of the Eleventy static site generator in hopes of creating a simple site to document all of this stuff.
Nothing is simple in 2020. Hours were lost tonight, never to be recovered, chasing down why Eleventy would not build correctly locally. Turns out an old version of Node.js on the trusty-but-ancient laptop was breaking the builds. Because of course it is.
It takes a lot of work to write HTML these days.
But if you're seeing this, it worked. Hooray for pigheaded perserverance.
